Why Choose Racehorse Share Advisory
George Lucas operates Racehorse Share Advisory as an Australian bloodstock agent with over 20 years experience trading thoroughbred racehorses.
During that time I've been involved in the sale of tried-racehorses — that have collectively earned more than $20 million in racetrack prize- money across Australia & Asia.
While my past experience has been focused on tried racehorses, the approach I apply to Racehorse Share Advisory is tailored specifically to share acquisitions.
Methodology / How I Select Racehorse Shares
Every share undergoes meticulous pedigree analysis. While trainers and syndicators typically select horses based on type and manage multiple horses at once, our process goes deeper — tracing pedigrees back several generations, identifying proven crosses and emerging nicks that might otherwise be overlooked. This detailed approach complements the syndicator / trainer’s expertise and helps you make more informed share selections.
Providing owners with data-driven guidance — more “numbers in the draw” for smarter share decisions.
Experience matters — but outcomes are never guaranteed
Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours analysing pedigrees and bloodlines, often identifying horses that strongly align with my criteria before they ever race.
On numerous occasions, horses that met these criteria went on to perform very well —reflecting the value of this pedigree-focused selection approach.
Equally, there have been situations where a horse that ticked many boxes showed early promise but did not ultimately fulfil its potential due to factors no analysis can predict - such as temperament, physical setbacks, or simply a lack of natural ability.
These experiences reinforce an important reality: sound analysis improves decision-making, but it does not eliminate risk. My role is to help clients understand that risk clearly, not to promise outcomes.
